Finally, an update…
September 28th, 2007Wow, it’s been ages since I updated my blog. I guess I have been really busy with the baby in the last few months. Today my boy turns 4 months. He’s so big now!
I haven’t had much of a chance to craft these days since I am taking care of a baby. I really do miss sewing. I was able to squeeze in one sewing project a couple of weeks ago since it was a “necessity” project. I made a nursing cover out of some nice pretty fabric.
It is double sided with white deers on navy on one side, and white polka-dots on lime green on the other side. I have tested it and it works pretty well to “cover” up during nursing. It sort of works like an apron over the baby while he eats, but the opening is bigger so that I can peek inside at the top to see him.
This was one of my first sewing projects after the baby came. It was so therapeutic to sew again…
I bought this Fisher Price record player from eBay a while ago for baby. He really likes music and so I thought this toy would be cool. It’s pretty neat that this toy that’s over 30 years old still works. The sound isn’t the clearest, but it still works reasonably well.
Well, hopefully once baby has a more regular napping schedule I will have more free time to craft again. Thanks for reading!
